The Contemporary Innovations Journal (CIJ), published by Lujosh Ventures Limited, is committed to maintaining the highest international standards of scholarly publishing. Our journals and Open Books operate according to internationally recognised publication ethics and editorial best practices to ensure that every published work is credible, transparent, reproducible and academically valuable.

Submission of a manuscript to any CIJ Journal or Open Book signifies that all authors have read, understood and agreed to these Editorial Policies. CIJ remains committed to editorial independence, research integrity, ethical peer review, and unbiased publication decisions.

  • Substantial contribution to the research.
  • Participation in drafting or revising the manuscript.
  • Approval of the final version.
  • Acceptance of responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the work.

Individuals who contributed but do not qualify as authors should be acknowledged appropriately.

CIJ accepts submissions exclusively through its online submission systems.

Authors must ensure manuscripts comply with CIJ formatting, ethical requirements, conflict-of-interest declaration, and reporting guidelines before submission.

CIJ requires ethical approval where applicable for:
  • Human participants
  • Animal research
  • Plant research
  • Clinical trials
  • Complementary & Alternative Medicine studies
  • Biosafety & Biosecurity research
  • Geological & Paleontological materials

Authors must provide evidence of ethical approval, participant consent, and institutional permissions where required.

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence editorial decisions. Undisclosed conflicts may lead to rejection, correction, or retraction.

All submitted manuscripts remain confidential throughout the editorial and peer-review process. Information is disclosed only to editors, reviewers, and authorised editorial personnel.

Authors must obtain written informed consent before publishing identifiable images, videos, or personal information. Consent documents may be requested by the Editorial Office.

CIJ investigates allegations involving:
  • Plagiarism
  • Fabrication
  • Falsification
  • Duplicate publication
  • Image manipulation
  • Peer review manipulation
  • Undisclosed conflicts
All investigations follow COPE procedures.

Minor corrections are updated within the published article. Major corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions follow COPE Retraction Guidelines and remain permanently linked to the original publication.
