Contemporary Innovations Journal (CIJ) is inviting applications for Editorial Board Members for the Contemporary Innovations Journal of Microbes World, a peer-reviewed journal covering the full breadth of microbiology — bacteriology, virology, mycology, microbial genetics, environmental and industrial microbiology, and the roles microorganisms play in health, agriculture, and biotechnology. As an Editorial Board Member, you will help safeguard the journal's scientific quality and support its growth as a trusted venue for microbiology research. This is a voluntary, remote position with a flexible time commitment, well suited to researchers and academics who want editorial-level involvement in the field. Key Responsibilities: - Review and evaluate submitted manuscripts within your area of expertise - Provide constructive, timely feedback to authors and the editorial team - Uphold the journal's standards for scientific quality and publication ethics - Recommend qualified peer reviewers when needed - Contribute to shaping the journal's scope, special issues, and editorial policies - Occasionally promote the journal within your professional and academic networks

- PhD (or equivalent research experience) in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, or a closely related field - A track record of peer-reviewed publications in microbiology or related disciplines (Orcid number/other metrics) - Prior peer review or editorial experience preferred but not mandatory - Strong analytical and scientific writing skills - Ability to commit a few hours per month to manuscript review - Good standing in the academic/research community
